Algeria: 12 hostages have died in the siege

The bloody three-day hostage standoff at a natural gas plant in the Sahara took a dramatic turn Friday as Algeria’s state news service reported that nearly 100 of the 132 foreign workers kidnapped by Islamic militants had been freed.

Natural gas plant opens in Bogo City


The first natural gas power plant in Cebu was launched yesterday in barangay Libertad, Bogo City, north Cebu, with a generation capacity of one megawatt and a field life of five years.
