Morato seeks bail

Former Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) Director Manuel L. Morato on Tuesday asked the Sandiganbayan to allow him to post bail in the plunder case filed against him in connection with the alleged embezzlement of P366 million of the PCSO’s intelligence funds when he was a director.

Morato to undergo heart bypass surgery

Former Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office director Manuel L. Morato will undergo shortly a coronary, or heart bypass surgery upon the recommendation of his doctors at the St. Luke’s Medical Center in Quezon City, where he is under hospital arrest.
