Aquino warned to heed call to scrap ‘pork’ or face ‘point of no return’

If President Benigno Aquino III won’t heed to the call to abolish the pork barrel system, history may repeat itself and people may, once again, stand up together to call for his removal from the office, an organizer of the anti-pork rally warned Friday.

More than 100 photographers on Friday marched to Manila’s Rizal Park to denounce a policy by park custodians requiring commercial photographers to pay fees if they want to shoot pictures in the park, and also protest against supposed discrimination against Filipino photo-shooters.
