Cloudy skies, rain in PH even as LPA in Mindanao dissolves–Pagasa

The low pressure area near Mindanao has dissipated, the state weather bureau said. The whole country will have partly cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Wednesday.

LPA to bring rain in Mindanao–Pagasa

The low pressure area in Mindanao will bring moderate to heavy rains in the area, the state weather bureau said Thursday. Although there is little chance of intensifying into a cyclone, the LPA will affect the regions of Eastern and Central Visayas, Caraga and Davao, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.

Now a storm, ‘Auring’ exits

Tropical Storm “Auring” is now out of the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) and all public storm signals have been lifted, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), which located the storm some 460 kilometers southwest of Puerto Princesa City as of 5 p.m. on Friday.
