Reyeses proclaimed anew in Marinduque

Mother and daughter Carmencita and Regina Reyes were proclaimed anew as winners in the gubernatorial and congressional races in Marinduque on Friday, this time by a reconstituted provincial board of canvassers (PBOC) headed by the regional election supervisor of Mimaropa.

Arroyo son wins in Camarines Sur

Representative Diosdado Ignacio Arroyo won his second term in the second district of Camarines Sur, fending off the strong challenge posed by Governor Luis Raymund “LRay” Villafuerte Jr. Arroyo (Lakas), garnering a total of 65,926 votes, was proclaimed winner by the provincial board of canvassers at 11:30 a.m. by a margin of 8,490 votes against Villafuerte (Nacionalista Party), his closest challenger.
