Officials in all the 33 barangays of Makati City have crafted a plan submitted to Makati Mayor Junjun Binay envisioning a “walkable city” where pedestrians can feel safe and secure on the sidewalks and other public spaces.

QC official wants all village chiefs in his city to be exempted from gun ban


A Quezon City councilor sought the exemption of all barangay (village) chairmen in the city from the gun ban imposed by the Commission on Elections (Comelec), claiming that the village chiefs should be considered law enforcers exposed to dangerous criminals.

Disaster training for villages
