Farmers hit land conversion as firm says it’s legal

TADEO stands beside a bulldozer flattening what he said were productive farms that should be marked for agrarian reform but are now being converted into a subdivision in Bulacan province.

Peasant leader Jaime Tadeo has resurfaced to lead the protest against the development of a subdivision project here over lands that Tadeo said farmers have staked for agrarian reform.
