Did you know: NCR jails

In May 2012, 22 out of the 24 jails in the National Capital Region were congested, with a congestion rate of 315 percent, according to the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology. The jails had a total population of 18,107 during the period while the ideal capacity was 4,361.
