The Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) has suspended the operations of a US Navy contractor that is undergoing investigation for dumping hazardous waste into Philippine waters.
The United States Navy is reviewing the past performance of its contractor, Glenn Defense Marine Asia Philippines Inc., to find out if it had violated ocean dumping laws, which would mean it violated its husbanding contract with the US Navy.
