‘Simpler,’ more detailed SALNs for all gov’t workers

All government workers, from the President to administrative aides, are now required to file a statement of assets, liabilities and net worth (SALN) based on “simpler” but more detailed forms intended “to maximize the SALN’s potential as a transparency and accountability tool,” Civil Service Commission (CSC) Chair Francisco Duque III said Friday.

House forms technical working group to discuss FCDA amendments

The House Committee on Banks and Financial Intermediaries on Tuesday formed a technical working group to focus on discussing proposed amendments to Republic Act 6426 or the Foreign Currency Deposit Act, which has been controversial in the impeachment trial on ousted chief justice Renato Corona.
