12 cops hurt, protester nabbed outside Aquino home

Twelve policemen were hurt and a protest leader was arrested, after a clash broke out between the police and a leftist group which stormed the private home of President Aquino on Times Street, Barangay West Triangle, Quezon City, Saturday morning.

President Benigno Aquino III was happy with the security preparations in major passenger terminals as he conducted an inspection Friday afternoon ahead of the expected exodus of people going to the provinces to visit their dead on All Saints’ Day.
