Air Force turns 67 amid ‘tough’ challenges


Amid security threats caused by an ongoing territorial dispute with China and neighboring countries in Southeast Asia, the Philippine Air Force celebrated its 67th anniversary Tuesday, promising to uphold peace and freedom “no matter how tough or frequent the challenge may be”.

Taxpayer sues PHLPost over Iglesia ni Cristo postage stamp

A taxpayer has taken legal action against the Philippine Postal Corp. or PHLPost for its issuance of postage stamps marking the 100th founding anniversary of Iglesia ni Cristo, saying that public funds should not be used to benefit a religious group.
