I am writing to express my opinion on the road user?s tax issue. I am very shocked that only one person was given power over billions of pesos of road user?s tax. So I am not surprised that Rodolfo ?Dodi? Puno abused his power.
Of course, he immediately politicized the distribution of the money. But it is shocking that he seems to have pocketed billions.
His reply to the charges of Sen. Miriam Defensor-Santiago was that she?s just avenging a perceived ?sin? committed against her by his brother, Local Government Secretary Ronaldo Puno.
He?s evading the issue. He should just answer the official accusations of the Commission on Audit.
