CITY OF MALOLOS – Nine people were killed while 14 others were seriously hurt in separate road accidents in Bataan and Bulacan on Thursday and early Friday, police said.
Five people were killed at 2 a.m. Friday when two trucks collided on the national highway in Barangay Maasim in San Ildefonso town in Bulacan.
Dead in that crash were Jimmy Rosete, Benedict Rosete and Ronnie Mandas, all from Dingalan, Aurora; Gabby Bulanghagui and Christian Carasco.
In Bataan, four people were killed while eight others were wounded on Thursday when an oil bulk carrier slammed into a parked mini bus in Barangay Lamao in Limay town.
Police identified the dead as Eustaquio Espinosa, the tanker’s driver; Rolando Santiago, Pablo Agustin and Jenifer Bonares, all of Abucay, Bataan.
