TAGUM CITY?Administration presidential candidate Gilberto ?Gibo? Teodoro Jr. shrugs off his continued low ratings in the candidate preference surveys.
?What?s important is I will win the elections,? Teodoro said at a gathering here to celebrate the birthday of Davao del Norte Rep. Antonio Lagdameo.
Teodoro also dismissed as ?just rumors? speculations that many administration legislators are forsaking the ruling Lakas-Kampi-CMD for other parties whose candidates are seen to have a better chance of winning in the May elections.
He said that once the campaign period kicks off next month, ?I will be included in the top 3 in the surveys.?
In the latest Dec. 27 to 28, 2009 Social Weather Stations survey, Teodoro got 5 percent, a far 4th behind Senators Benigno ?Noynoy? Aquino III and Manuel Villar, and deposed President Joseph Estrada. Frinston Lim, Inquirer Mindanao
