Bus robbers kill man

A BUS PASSENGER was shot dead after he refused to give his bag to robbers Wednesday afternoon. Senior Supt. Raul Petrasanta, Pasay police chief, said the victim was identified as William Cruz, a resident of Washington Street in Makati City, based on an identification card found in his possession. Witnesses said the man was on an Ayala-bound Lady Eunice Line bus at the corner of San Luis Street and Roxas Boulevard in Pasay City when robbers held up the vehicle. Instead of giving his bag, the man refused and reportedly told the robbers to shoot him instead. One of the robbers then took out a 9 mm pistol, shot the victim in the head and took his bag.
