MANILA, Philippines--An amended complaint to include four other complainants will be filed by ABS-CBN news anchor Cheryl Cosim against businessman Richard Ordoñez who allegedly pointed a gun at her during a traffic altercation in Quezon City two weeks ago.
?We will include the other companions of Ms Cosim as complainants because they were threatened as a group, not just Ms Cosim herself,? said Claire Castro, Cosim?s lawyer.
Assistant Cty Prosecutor Rodrigo del Rosario gave Cosim?s party until Nov. 27 to file the amended complaint including Cosim?s companions Joselito, Manuel, and John Alvarez, and Christian Bugayong.
Ordoñez was not present at the preliminary investigation Thursday but was represented by his lawyer, Trini Anne Nieva.
Del Rosario said Ordoñez will be required to file his counteraffidavit to the complaint for grave threats and illegal possession of firearms on Dec. 11.
The Philippine National Police?s Civil Security Group has already issued a revocation order for the businessman?s seven firearms whose licenses had already expired.
Cosim said she was on her way to her house on aboard her van with the four other complainants on Nov. 2 when Ordoñez, who was driving his car, pointed his gun at her during a traffic altercation at the corner of Visayas and Congressional Avenues.
