MANILA, Philippines – Next time you want to have your photos taken inside studios, even if these are in crowded malls, be careful.
On Thursday, a 23-year-old restaurant manager filed a complaint with the Quezon City police against a photographer of a photo studio inside a popular mall in Fairview.
Chief Insp. Cherry Lou Donato, chief of the General Investigation Section of QCPD, said the manager had gone to the photo studio in the mall to have her photos taken.
Donato said Rommel Lee, the in-house photographer of Great Image Photo Studio, told the victim he would take her photos for free because she was so beautiful.
Inside the studio, the victim was allegedly persuaded into doing some sexy poses, which apparently emboldened Lee to touch her breasts.
“The victim said the photographer allegedly touched her breasts after the suspect had convinced her to take off her pants supposedly for a sexy pose,” Donato said. She added that Lee denied the allegation.
The manager filed complaint of acts of lasciviousness against the photographer.
Donato advised customers they should insist on having a companion inside the studio.
Donato said that a representative of the studio had asked for a copy of the complaint, but refused to give their comment to reporters.
