Cop charged
A policeman was charged Wednesday before the Manila Regional Trial Court after he allegedly killed a teenager and mauled two others whom he had accused of stealing a bike in San Andres Bukid, Manila, last September. Assistant city prosecutor Evelyn Brul-Cruz ordered the filing of homicide charges against PO1 Julio Yssey Tolentino Marquez for the death of Bernardo Bandejas Jr., 15, and child abuse charges for the mauling of the two other minors.
