MANILA, Philippines—National Artist for Music Levi Celerio was born on April 30, 1910 in Tondo, Manila. He wrote the lyrics of "Dungawin Mo Hirang," "Saan Ka Man Naroroon," "Ang Pasko ay Sumapit" and "Sa Ugoy ng Duyan." He was also known for his ability to play music on a leaf.
