MANILA, Philippines ? The country?s first Ocean Park has launched a special program this summer that would enable visitors ? both young and old ? to interact with park "inhabitants" all night long.
Manila Ocean Park marketing manager Tina Santos said the program, dubbed "Sleeping With the Fish," would be held on April 25 and every Friday for the month of May, from 6:30 p.m. until 7 a.m. the following day.
"We decided to come up with this program because we thought that it would be nice for the clients to observe marine life at night," Santos told the Inquirer.
Among the activities under the program are a 30-minute lecture on the different types of fish and how to care for them followed by a film showing.
"The visitors will also be given unlimited access to the park, something daytime clients cannot do," Santos said.
The park will charge an entrance fee of P1,000 for adults, P750 for children and P600 for nannies or chaperones. Dinner, a midnight snack and breakfast will be provided to participants.
