MANILA, Philippines -- A 48-YEAR-OLD man was killed inside a crowded jeepney terminal in Quezon City Saturday night.
Ernesto Anapada, a resident of 28 Pinagkaisahan Street, Barangay Bagong Pag-asa, Quezon City, died instantly from multiple stab wounds.
A report from the Quezon City Police District said the victim was on his way home when a still unidentified man confronted him at around 7:50 p.m. in the Quezon City Central Terminal in Barangay Bagong Pag-asa.
The report said that in the middle of their argument, the man suddenly took out a knife and attacked the victim.
The assailant hurriedly fled the area, leaving the murder weapon still stuck in the victim?s body.
Although the incident happened in a busy area, nobody has come forward to help in the police investigation, the report said.
