Feb. 18

6 a.m.- Olongapo City councilor and Ang Kapatiran Party (AKP) presidential bet John Carlos ?JC? de los Reyes arrives from Olongapo to attend Mass at St. Francis Church in Ortigas Center, Pasig City. Wife Dunia and kids Sonny, Barbie and Gabby arrive later in the day.

6:30 a.m.- At the AKP headquarters in San Antonio Village, Pasig, he meets with his running mate, lawyer Dominador ?Jun? Chipeco, and their senatorial candidates.

7 a.m.- De los Reyes arrives at the Balintawak Cloverleaf Market in Quezon City. He meets with stall owners, sidewalk and ambulant vendors, market workers, and market-goers. He poses for pictures and distributes leaflets. At a Nestle product promotion booth, he uses the videoke machine to sing ?Laklak? (by the rock band Teeth).

9:30 a.m.- The candidate proceeds to Muñoz Market, also in QC, meets vendors and market goers and distributes leaflets. The team buys snacks from a carinderia in an alley.

10 a.m. - De los Reyes arrives at AKP HQ for an interview by Ateneo de Manila University students for their newsletter. He tells them of the AKP platform and principles.

11 a.m.- He arrives at the GMA 7 station in Kamuning, QC, to tape an episode of ?Kandidato? that features presidential candidates.

2 p.m. - With Chipeco and senatorial candidates, he goes to SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City and eats a quick lunch at a fastfood joint before attending the National Youth Parliament Alumni Association forum at the SMX convention center.

3:30 p.m.- He attends the ?Dialogue with Presidential Candidates? forum at Club Filipino in San Juan City with the theme ?Iligtas ang Saka, Trabaho at Negosyo.? De los Reyes speaks about economic policies and reforms. He joins other candidates in opposing trade liberalization if it threatens local industries and increases the ranks of the poor.

7 p.m. - De los Reyes arrives with party mates at the Don Bosco Technical College in Mandaluyong City. He speaks on voter?s education to a Church-based community organization and meets with social action officer Fr. Monch Aldana.

Meanwhile, his wife Dunia arrives at the Valenzuela City Astrodome to represent him, and delivers the opening remarks at a rock concert sponsored by the Kabataang Valenzuelanos.

9 p.m. - De los Reyes returns to the AKP HQ and is joined by Dunia about an hour later. With the kids, they proceed to an Ortigas condotel. The candidate prepares for a trip to Roxas City, Capiz, the next day.
