Obama to join vigils for Connecticut school massacre

President Barack Obama was due in the small Connecticut community of Newtown on Sunday to join in an interfaith vigil for the 20 small children and seven adults slaughtered by a young gunman.

Friends recall gunman from US massacre as quiet, odd

Twenty small children and six teachers were massacred on Friday when a young gunman walked into a quiet surburban Connecticut school armed with sophisticated handguns.
