MANILA, Philippines—Authorities on Friday raided the suspected safehouse of the notorious Alvin Flores robbery group in Bulacan province and seized several high-powered firearms and police uniforms.
Initial reports reaching Camp Crame said the raid at 2903 Jupiter Street, Rocka Village, Plaridel town led to the confiscation of several high-powered firearms including 9 millimeter light machine guns and shot guns.
Also seized during the 1 p.m. raid were several police uniforms, Kevlar vests, bomb squad t-shirts, and Bitag shirts. Bitag is an investigative program on television.
Reports said police stormed the suspected hideout, reportedly owned by a certain Arlene Miron, who is at large.
