BATANGAS CITY, Batangas, Philippines — Three alleged drug dealers were arrested separately in Batangas province on Monday by agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, an official said Wednesday.
Chief Inspector Christopher Abrahano, PDEA Calabarzon director, identified the arrested suspects as Sherwin Gadin, of Poblacion, Cuenca town; Benjamin Papasin, of Balagtas village, Batangas City; and Imelda Papasin, of Balete, Batangas City.
He said PDEA conducted a series of raids, which resulted in the arrest of the three.
Confiscated from them were about six grams of shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride), assorted drug paraphernalia, a silver digital weighing scale, and a red Ford F150 with license plate WES 744.
Charges were being prepared against the three, Abrahano said.
He said the intensified anti-drug operations were in line with the agency's vision of a “drug-free Philippines.”
