LUCENA CITY, Quezon, Philippines — A passenger jeepney driver suffered a heart attack when his vehicle slammed into a motorcycle in Pagbilao, Quezon Tuesday afternoon, police said Wednesday.
Police Officer 3 Allan Falquesa, Pagbilao police investigator, identified the victim as Jesus Pornallosa, 55 and resident of Pagbilao town.
Report said the victim was driving down Burgos Street when he lost control of his vehicle and bumped a parked motorcycle on the side of the road.
Palquesa said Pornallosa lost consciousness after the accident and was rushed to Jane County Hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
Falquesa, quoting the doctor who attended to the victim, said Pornallosa suffered a heart attack after the collision.
