MANILA, Philippines -- A shallow low pressure area and the tail-end of a cold front is expected to bring rains over the country over the next few days, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Thursday.
The shallow low pressure area was estimated to be 900 kilometers east of Southern Mindanao and is expected to bring mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers over the region for the next four days, PAGASA said.
Southern Luzon and the Visayas are expected to experience similar weather conditions until Monday next week due to the tail-end of a cold front.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains for the next few days, the weather bureau said.
No tropical cyclone has been monitored within the Philippine area of responsibility, PAGASA said.
