CAMP SIONGCO, Maguindanao, Philippines – Armed Forces chief Gen. Alexander Yano gave investigators 48 hours to determine what caused Friday morning's fire that razed the ammunition storage facility here.

The military has already said the fire, which caused defective artillery shells stored in the facility to explode, was not the result of sabotage.

The blaze damaged some P10 million in government property.

"I formed a team and gave them 48 hours to submit findings before my office," Yano said.

He said that the incident had no effect on the military's capability against Moro rebels being hunted down in Maguindanao.
