SORSOGON CITY, Philippines -- Two teenagers died and two others were injured when a truck rammed their house as they slept around 4 a.m. Monday in Barangay (village) Tiris, Gubat town, Sorsogon province.
Chief Inspector Raul Valeriano, Gubat police chief, driven by Noel Iñigo, lost its brakes.
Isiah Thomas Escoril, 13 and Rommel Joven, 13, were killed on the spot. Josephine Sabordo and Ian Escoril were brought to the Sorsogon Provincial Hospital here.
The driver voluntarily surrendered to the police.
