Businessman shot dead in Bulacan

MANILA, Philippines -- A businessman was killed by suspected robbers Friday noon in Bulacan province after he tried to resist his assailants, according to a radio report.

Radio dzMM said Henry Liwanag of Baliwag, who had a gun, tried to fight off the suspects.

No other details were available as of posting time.
