110 kg marijuana seized in Baguio buy-bust

Chief Inspector Edgar Apalla of the PDEA-Cordillera said suspects Samuel Pal-iwen, 51; Jose Astudillo, 22; and Juan Asislo, 18 were arrested at about 8 a.m. when they tried to sell about 3 kg of marijuana to an agent posing as a buyer.

PDEA agents later discovered that the suspects were keeping more than 110 kg of dried marijuana contained in five sacks.
