MANILA, Philippines?President-elect Benigno ?Noynoy? Aquino III is planning another vacation before he assumes office on June 30.
But Aquino said he would first complete the formation of his Cabinet before taking a three-day ?legitimate break.?
?I also intend to take a legitimate break even for three days only to internalize everything,? he told reporters Tuesday night.
Asked when he would start his vacation, Aquino said, ?I want to finish forming the Cabinet. I want to make sure we are on the right track deciding who to replace among appointees, who are the candidates for the appointees.?
?I understand the inventory is 4,500,? he said, referring to the vacant positions in government that has to be filled up.
Aquino also took a weeklong hiatus before Congress formally proclaimed him as the 15th president of the country on June 9.
