MANILA, Philippines?(UPDATE 2) Petron, Chevron and Phoenix Petroleum have separately announced another round of oil price rollback effective Sunday, with over P3 per liter reduced in oil prices in less than a two-week period.
Petron Corp., in a media advisory, said prices of premium gasoline, diesel and kerosene will be slashed by P0.50 per liter and P1 per liter for regular gasoline effective 6 a.m. Sunday.
Chevron Phil. Inc. will also reduce premium gasoline, diesel, and kerosene prices by P0.50 per liter and regular gasoline by P1 per liter effective 12:01 a.m. Sunday, according to communications manager Toby Nebrida.
Independent oil player Phoenix Petroleum will also cut diesel and gasoline prices by P0.50 per liter effective 10 a.m. Sunday.
Since May 17, premium gasoline prices have been reduced by P3.25 per liter, diesel and kerosene by P3 per liter, and regular gasoline prices by P3.50 per liter.
