CAMP CASTANEDA, Cavite, Philippines?Interior Secretary Ronaldo Puno, vice chairman of the Lakas-Kampi-CMD, admitted on Thursday that the administration party was having problems with funds to bankroll its campaign, but quickly added this is a problem also being experienced by other political parties.

Interviewed after the graduation rites of the Philippine National Police Academy ?Mabikas? Class 2010 here, Puno said, ?I have never been in an election where there isn?t anyone complaining of problems in funding. If you ask the other parties if their funding is okay, I?m sure they?ll say no.?

He said with the current economic crisis, political parties are having difficulty soliciting funds from the private sector, citing the economic difficulties being experienced by the country.
