MANILA, Philippines?Showing himself as a serious candidate, actor Edu Manzano is coming out with his own campaign showcase with an initiative dubbed the ?Edu Express.?

?Edu Express? will roll on February 15 as a nationwide caravan to reach out to the people.

?It?s a nationwide caravan going to region to region, province to province, municipality to municipality, barangay to barangay We will do discussions, we will sit down with the barangay, we will actually interact with the people,? said the administration?s vice presidential candidate in an interview with reporters.

The former Makati vice mayor said he thinks the caravan will be the ?best way? to reach out to voters and introduce himself as a capable and serious candidate.

Asked if showbiz personalities will endorse his bid, Manzano said the biggest personality endorsing him is presidential candidate Gilbert Teodoro, his running mate.

The former ?Game Ka na Ba?? TV show host said he does not expect his former wife, actress and Batangas Governor Vilmas Santos, and their son, Luis, to openly endorse him.

?I think it will be very awkward for Vilma to come out considering she?s with the LP (Liberal Party) but she did give a verbal endorsement. She said that she respects the personal decision and she feels that I have what it takes to become a good vice president so I will take that as an endorsement,? said Manzano.
