MANILA, Philippines -- Chevron Philippines Inc. raised gasoline prices by P1 per liter and diesel and kerosene prices by P0.50 per liter effective 6 a.m. Tuesday, said its communications manager Toby Nebrida.
Chevron is the fourth oil company that increased prices Tuesday following the moves of Pilipinas Shell and Petron Corp. and independent oil firm Phoenix Petroleum Inc.
At 12:01 a.m. Tuesday, Shell also raised the prices of gasoline by P1 per liter and diesel and kerosene by P0.50 per liter to "reflect the increase in international oil price products," said Shell vice president for communications Roberto Kanapi.
Phoenix and Petron also implemented the same price adjustments at 6 a.m. Tuesday.
