MANILA, Philippines—(UPDATE) Incumbent Senator Pia Cayetano filed her certificate of candidacy for senator at exactly 8:55 a.m. Monday.

Cayetano filed ahead of the rest of the candidates of Nacionalista Party. She arrived with several bikers just before the NP mass at Manila Cathedral.

She arrived at the Comelec still wearing a pink biking outfit after traveling from the SM Mall of Asia aboard a bike. She changed into a casual pink blouse, shiny gray leggings, and pink slides before entering the Comelec law department to file her CoC.

The senator seeking re-election said she would push for legislations on environment, health, and women empowerment. "Little attention is given to social services and not given budget yet some unidentified programs did receive some budget,” she said.
