MANILA, Philippines? For the next five days, Metro Manila and parts of Luzon and the Visayas will experience light to moderate rain showers and cloudy skies, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
?The high pressure winds being experienced in China and Japan has affected us, bringing us scattered rain showers,? Pagasa forecaster on duty Alzar Aurelio told Philippine Daily Inquirer.
Pagasa said the Visayas and Mindanao will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.
The weather bureau warned that if widespread rains over eastern Mindanao prevail, they may trigger flashfloods and landslides.
The advisory posted on the bureau?s website said extreme parts of northern Luzon would have mostly cloudy skies with scattered light rains, while the rest of Luzon would be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
