Balili review body seeks more time

One month is not enough to review the Cebu provincial government?s Balili land purchase.

The committee formed by Cebu Gov. Gwendolyn Garcia to look into the purchase is asking for more time to submit the report on their review of the P98.9-million purchase.

Capitol Consultant Rory Jon Sepulveda explained that the review committee could not get a quorum since the Provincial Board members who belong to the committee had been out of town lately for some official functions.

He said they only needed to deliberate on the findings after they had completed the data gathering.

Sepulveda said they might be able to submit their report in mid November as soon as the committee members could meet and deliberate.
