MANILA, Philippines ? Senator Manuel ?Mar? Roxas has filed a resolution in the Senate declaring January 25, the birth anniversary of the late president Corazon Aquino, a national holiday every year, his office said.

It said such a declaration would be in recognition of Aquino?s role in fighting dictatorship.
