MANILA, Philippines — The Supreme Court has dismissed three judges in as many weeks for various offenses.

Dismissed from service were Olongapo City Regional Trial Court Judge Ramon Caguioa, Malolos City Regional Trial Court Judge Victoria Villalon-Pornillos and Misamis Occidental Judge Priscilla Hernandez.

Caguioa was sacked for gross ignorance of the law and conduct prejudicial to the best interest of the service

Pornillos was fired for borrowing P5,000 from a lawyer who had two pending cases in her court.

Hernandez was dismissed for gross neglect of judicial duty and inefficiency arising from the unexplained loss of some case records.
