MANILA, Philippines? The Makati Regional Trial Court has ordered Legacy Consolidated Plans Inc. to produce a list of its assets and liabilities after it declared the troubled pre-need firm as an ?insolvent debtor.?
In a two-page order dated April 27, Judge Reynaldo Laigo of the Makati RTC Branch 56 granted Legacy Plan?s petition for insolvency?which meant that the company had insufficient assets to cover all its obligations.
With the court order, Legacy Plans would be compelled to give an inventory of its assets. Its owner Celso de los Angeles had earlier refused to provide such documents to the Senate.
But clerk of court Richard Jamora clarified that the order covered only the company?s properties and did not include the alleged multimillion assets under De los Angeles? name.
De los Angeles reportedly owned houses in Ayala Alabang, Cebu and Albay, several luxury cars and a yacht. With Rachel Miranda
