MANILA, Philippines—(UPDATE) Major oil players Chevron (formerly Caltex) and Petron announced they will cut oil prices by P0.50 per liter effective midnight, Tuesday.
In separate text messages, Chevron communications manager Toby Nebrida and Petron spokesperson Virginia Ruivivar said prices of diesel, kerosene, and gasoline products will be slashed effective at 12:01 a.m.
Chevron will also be implementing the same cutbacks for its E10 gasoline and fuel oil, Nebrida said.
Major oil player Pilipinas Shell has yet to announce a cut back.
