MANILA, Philippines -- A graduate of the University of the Philippines-Los Baños (UPLB) topped the licensure examination for civil engineers this year, results of the test released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Thursday showed.
Its 100 percent passing rate (28 passers out of 28 examinees) also made UPLB best performing school in this year?s civil engineering board, followed by UP Diliman (35 out of 36, for a 97 percent rate) and Ateneo de Naga (nine of 11, 82 percent).
UPLB?s Maricel dela Cruz Aquino got a rating of 99 percent.
At second place, with a 98.95 percent rating, were Serg Jason Modequillo Bodiongan of Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology, Ma. Doreen Esplana Candelaria of UP-Diliman, Raisa lleue Molina Curativo of Bicol University-Legazpi, Rodolfo Paule Mendoza Jr. of Don Honorio Ventura College of Arts and Trades, Arnel Marie Isleta Monteiro of UPLB, Lemuel Agie Garcia Sacan of Eastern Visayas State University, and Jeshurin Dacules Severo of the Carlos C. Hilado Memorial State College-Talisay.
