Estrada pushes for all-out war vs MILF, Abu Sayyaf

DIGOS CITY -- An all-out war must be declared against the Moro Islamic Liberation Front and the Abu Sayyaf in Mindanao, former president Joseph Estrada said Tuesday.

Speaking over Mindanao-wide simulcast over Bombo Radyo Tuesday morning, Estrada said peace would never come to Mindanao if these groups continued to exist.

Estrada also said he was puzzled why the government continued to negotiate with the MILF when the rebel group proved to be not trustworthy.

“Enough with the talking; the people in Mindanao are still living in poverty and fear,” Estrada said.
