MANILA, Philippines -- The 53rd annual convention of the Nutritionists-Dietitians Association of the Philippines (NDAP), which aims to provide fresh insights into areas of specialization as well as emerging fields in the profession, will be held on March 13-14 at the Waterfront Hotel in Davao City.
With the theme “Diversifying Opportunities for the Modern Nutritionist-Dietitian,” the event will allow practitioners to be updated on trends in nutrition worldwide and be equipped to respond to current challenges, according to convention chair Paz L. Sales and NDAP president Nieves Serra, RND.
The keynote address will be delivered by Dr. Chwang Leh-Chii, director of the Taipei Veterans General Hospital’s Department of Food and Nutrition.
The lectures will include the Dr. Clara Ruth Darby memorial lecture (in honor of the mentor and friend of the first food and nutrition students of the University of the Philippines) and presentations by experts in various fields.
