MANILA, Philippines?Two passengers were hurt in a minor bus collision on East Avenue in Quezon City Monday morning.

A bus from the Original Transport Service crashed onto the rear of a Valisno Express bus on the way to Fairview, said the latter's driver, Nerlo Mascarinas, in a phone interview.

Mascarinas said the Original Transport Service bus driver lost control of the brakes.

The injured passengers, one from each bus, were brought to East Avenue Medical Center. The drivers were unharmed.

The Valisno bus bumper, however, was damaged, Mascarinas said.

The buses have been brought to the Traffic Enforcement Unit, Sector 3 office at Camp Karingal, where the drivers' statements were being processed as of 11 a.m.
