MANILA, Philippines?Police arrested two suspected pushers caught selling illegal drugs in front of a public elementary school in Taguig City on Saturday morning.
Senior Supt. Camilo Cascolan, Taguig police chief, identified the suspects as Hamsa Lampay, 25, and Kalid Dacambayan, 18. Both are natives of Maguindanao.
Cascolan said the two were caught red-handed in a buy-bust operation.
An informant living near the Silangan Elementary School in Maharlika Village tipped off Taguig police that the suspects were sell drugs in front of the school.
Two small sachets of shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) and a marked P500 bill were recovered from the suspects.
Police are now preparing charges against the suspects, Cascolan said.
?It's good that we have immediately arrested them before they could victimize students,? Cascolan said.
