MANILA, Philippines? The reward money for any information leading to the arrest of the prime suspect in the murder of a Malacanang executive's son has been raised by the National Capital Regional Police Office (NCRPO) from P200,000 to half a million pesos.
Director Roberto Rosales, NCRPO chief, said that raising the reward money would result in more positive information on the whereabouts of Jason Ivler.
He said the tracker teams led by the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) and operatives from the Metro Manila?s Regional Police Intelligence Operations Unit (RPIOU) have been working on some leads provided by some informants and concerned citizens.
Rosales also appealed to Ivler?s friends and relatives who know and might have communication with Ivler to convince the suspect to surrender.
?It would be best for everybody if Ivler would just voluntarily surrender. He is a suspect for murder and our operatives are made aware that he is carrying a gun. That information is taken seriously,? he said.
